This “Snow Car” Sculpture is Everything Montreal

“Sorry sir, you can’t park here!”

An ingenious Montreal prankster had an artistic flash of genius after last week’s snowstorm. Simon Laprise’s snow sculpture of a DeLorean DMC-12 that seems LITERALLY frozen in time is beginning to go viral in Montreal.

The photo was shared by Facebook page “Journaldesvoisins.com” after an original post appeared on /r/Montreal’s front page.

The Reddit post featured a very clever mise en scène where a Montreal police officer appears to be giving the DeLorean a ticket!

To be fair, it’s kind of hard to tell whether it’s a sculpture or whether the car is just covered in snow completely! (LOL)

There’s no word on whether the now-famous DeLorean sculpture is still frozen in place or if it has moved… Our sources indicate it was located on Prieur Street East, between Christophe-Colomb and Francis Streets, in Ahuntsic.
