Newlywed Amy Schumer has jetted off to Italy for her honeymoon.
The Trainwreck actress stunned fans when she announced last month (Feb18) that she had wed chef Chris Fischer in a surprise ceremony held in Malibu, California.
Now the couple has flown to Italy for its honeymoon, and Schumer has been documenting the trip on Instagram, sharing snaps from Milan, Venice, and Rome.
In one picture, she is featured looking over a balcony from her hotel, simply captioning it with a heart emoji. She has also been posting photos of famous artwork, including Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper masterpiece in Milan.
The comedienne has been giving fans an insight into her life as a new wife by actively sharing pictures and videos of the happy couple online following its surprise wedding.
Earlier this month (Mar18), she uploaded a video that showed the pair describing their love for one another as they officially became man and wife.
In the footage, which features bluegrass band The Get Down Boys' cover of The Rainbow Connection, a track from 1979's The Muppet Movie, Chris said, "I love you, Amy, you bring happiness and joy to every part of my life, you are the best thing that ever happened to me. I love you with every piece of my heart."
Amy then explained why she was so desperate to get married after their whirlwind romance.
"People are wondering why the rush, why so fast, and it's because I truly cannot wait another second to be your wife," she shared, before stating, "I love you."
In her first interview following the nuptials, Amy revealed she's a big fan of being Chris' wife, and that the novelty of being a married woman has yet to wear off.
"It feels f**king good!" she said on her pal Nikki Glaser's Sirius XM show late last month. "I'm a wife as hell. But it's still a novelty. Somebody went to sit next to (Chris) and he's like, 'My wife is sitting here,' and then I got back and he was excited to tell me that he said that."
