One of music’s biggest stars is coming to Montreal! After starting out on The Mickey Mouse Club, Justin went on to release numerous hits with boy band *NSYNC in the 1990s before going solo with his 2002 debut, Justified.
Justin has only played in Montreal three times before; once with *NSYNC in 1998 for a July 18 show at the now-defunct Spectrum, and again in 2007 and 2014, for back-to-back shows at the Bell Centre as a solo artist. Two previous appearances at the Molson Centre with *NSYNC were cancelled.
It’s been nearly four years since his last visit, and JT is once again planning to pull out all stops, with back-to-back dates at the Bell Centre this Sunday and Monday!
In honour of these shows, here are five of Justin Timberlake’s BEST songs through the years. Which other ones do YOU think should have made the list? After all, there are so many!
5. *NSYNC – Bye Bye Bye
A musical emblem for 90’s kids everywhere, Bye Bye Bye hasn’t aged particularly well, but it still deserves a spot on the list for giving JT’s career a solid kickstart.
4. Cry Me A River
The hit single from Justin’s debut solo album Justified is still a classic today.
Justin went for a much rawer, more electronically-based sound for FutureSex/LovaSounds (2006).
For an album whose title reflects perfect vision (The 20/20 Experience), “Mirrors” seems like an appropriate name for a single. The powerful, emotional song is still a staple of JT’s sets today, and was featured in his Super Bowl performance in February.
1. Rock Your Body
“Rock Your Body” might be JT’s most recognizable song, earning it the top spot in our ranking. But to be fair, no Justin Timberlake list in 2018 would be complete without mentioning at least one song from his new album Man of the Woods…
BONUS: Say Something
That’s why we chose “Say Something” – the powerful, emotional song with country singer Chris Stapleton is unique and captivating. Here’s hoping he treats us in Montreal to some (or maybe all!) of these classic songs.
