The Santa Claus Parade is coming back to town for its 71st Edition!
The City of Montreal is extremely excited to announce the return of the iconic Santa Claus Parade… And this year will include several firsts!
This year, spectators will be able gather in Dorchester Square and watch the Parade broadcast live on a jumbo screen, and starting at 10am, choirs and make-up artists will be on-site to help mark the start of winter festivities in Montreal!
"The official start will be at 11:00 a.m. on Boulevard René-Lévesque, opposite the Place Ville Marie’s Esplanade PVM", as explained in the official press release. "The Parade will then proceed along avenue Robert-Bourassa and continue on Sainte-Catherine Street to Place des Arts on Saint-Urbain Street. Spectators will be able to line up along the route, with the exception of Sainte-Catherine Street between de Bleury
and Balmoral, due to a private construction site."
With more than 400,000 spectators expected for the event, we are thrilled to share that The Beat 92.5 will be one of the partners walking in the parade, to help kick off the winter season… And, of course, to welcome Santa’s return to town!
It’s all going down on Saturday, November 25th at 11am on Sainte-Catherine West… We’ll see you there, Montreal!
