Great news for fans of the original "Legally Blonde" movie: Prime Video has given the green light for a prequel, and Reese Witherspoon herself announced the news! The series will focus on Elle Woods before she went to Harvard Law School.

Witherspoon, who starred as Woods in the 2001 hit film, said, "Before Elle was the most famous Gemini vegetarian to graduate from Harvard Law School, she was just a regular ‘90s high school girl."

According to the official synopsis, the show will follow Woods as a teenager, revealing the life experiences that made her the iconic young woman we fell in love with in the first movie.

Casting information and a release date for "Elle" have not yet been announced.
