If you’re noticing an increase when buying your STM pass for July, you’re not the only one.

The Autorité régionale de transport métropolitain (ARTM) is increasing its fares starting on July 1.

ARTM officials shared back in April that these fare changes were part of the annual indexations.

Here are the new transit prices across the different zones:

Zone A will be going up from $97 to $100.
Zone AB will be going up from $155 to $160.
Zone ABC will be going up from $190 to $196.
Zone ABCD will be going up from $263 to $271.

Prices for one and two pass tickets in Zone A will remain the same but there will be a 10-ticket package increase of 75 cents bring it to a new total of $33.25.

Tickets for AB, ABC and ABCD will increase by $0.25 - which is their first increase since October 2022.

Additionally, the reduced fare monthly passes will also be increasing.

Zone A will now cost $60, Zone AB will cost $96, Zone ABC will cost $118 and Zone ABCD will cost $163.
