Well Montreal, we don’t know about you, but we are loving this back-to-back long weekend thing we’ve got going on!
However, as always, that means that some stores and services will be closed… Just because everyone deserves a day off once in a while too!
Here is what will be open and closed during Canada Day:
Open:
- Atwater and Jean-Talon Markets
- SAQ (usual hours)
- Garbage, recycling, and compost will keep the usual schedules
- Ecocentres will be open on summer schedules
- Grocery stores will be open but hours may vary, make sure to check your local grocery store.
- The Planetarium, Biodôme, Botanical Garden, Insectarium, and Biosphère
- STM will be operating on a holiday schedule
- Laval transit buses will run on a Saturday schedule
- Longueuil transit buses will operate on a Sunday schedule
- EXO trains and the REM will run on a Sunday schedule while the EXO buses will run on a Sunday schedule.
Closed:
- Banks and financial institutions
- Canada Post
- Revenue Quebec
- Malls
- SQDC
