Gird your loins, Montreal! The early 2000s classic "The Devil Wears Prada" is getting a sequel, with the original writer, Aline Brosh McKenna, reportedly working on it according to Puck News.

In addition to McKenna's return, Wendy Finerman is back as a producer, and the original director, David Frankel, is apparently in discussions to return as well.

However, there hasn't been any update on whether the original cast will return. The 2006 Oscar-nominated movie featured big names such as Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, and Emily Blunt.

Both Blunt and Hathaway have previously expressed satisfaction with the film not having a sequel. Hathaway told Extra that fans shouldn't "hold out too much hope" for a sequel.

Regardless of the outcome, we are certainly excited about the continuation of the story!
