Janet Jackson has promised fans her upcoming Las Vegas residency will be "a lot of fun".
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, the superstar confirmed she will be performing a string of shows at Resorts World Las Vegas to kick off the New Year.
"We're so excited to announce our new residency at Resorts World Las Vegas launching New Year's week!" she wrote. "This is going to be a lot of fun and I look forward to spending the start of the New Year with you!! We truly can't wait! Sending so much love."
In response, La Toya Jackson congratulated her younger sister on the exciting news and complimented the gold sequin jacket she poses in for the marketing imagery.
"Congratulations Jan!!! OMG I Love love love this look on you! I love you sweetheart!" she wrote.
Meanwhile, Janelle Monae commented, "Timeless can't wait!!!" and Jenna Dewan - who was once a backup dancer for Janet - vowed to come along to a show.
"Eeeeeee this is exciting! Congratulations my love!! You know I'll be there," she added.
Most recently, Janet completed a 35-city extension of the Together Again tour, which included dates across the U.S. and Europe.
Performances of Janet Jackson: Las Vegas will begin on 30 December and include New Year's Eve. Tickets to the 10 shows will go on sale on 28 August.
