Both the Île-aux-Tourtes and Honoré-Mercier bridges will be closed this weekend. As you plan your first fall weekend, take note of these closures that could impact your travel.
From Friday at 11:59PM until Monday at 5AM, Highway 40 westbound will be fully closed between Exit 41 (Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue / des Anciens-Combattants Blvd. / Highway 20 westbound / Île Perrot) and Saint-Charles Ave. entrance.
As for Highway 40 eastbound, it will be completely closed between Vaudreuil-sur-le-Lac / Vaudreuil-Dorion / Saint-Charles Ave. and the des Anciens-Combattants Blvd. entrance.
Additionally, the eastbound ramp from Highway 40 to the Île-aux-Tourtes bridge will be closed at the Highway 30 interchange. Drivers are encouraged to use Highways 20 and 30 as alternatives, with tolls on Highway 30 suspended in both directions for the weekend.
On the Honoré-Mercier bridge, only one lane will remain open in both directions from Friday at 10PM until Saturday at 11AM.
