Post Malone has been named the latest men's ambassador for UGG.

The rapper-turned-country star has been tapped to front promotional videos for the footwear brand's new weatherised collection.

In the first campaign video, the I Had Some Help hitmaker plays an outlaw who is walking with his horse Jasper. When they come upon a puddle, Jasper refuses to cross the water while Post confidently walks through it wearing the new Tasman Weather Hybrid shoes.

Speaking to Esquire, Post, real name Austin Post, reflected on filming the new promos.

"I think they're (the new shoes are) beautiful. I can't wait to rock the hell out of all of them. I'm excited, and I'm having so much fun. Plus, everyone is so kind to me, so I'm just grateful to be here," he praised.

"The Ugg team is great, too. It's hot as hell in Nashville, and all day everyone's trying to give me an umbrella. I know I'm burnt at this point anyway, but everyone is amazing."

While his ambassadorship role is new, the 29-year-old has been a fan of Ugg for a while, and even sported custom camouflage-print boots when he performed America the Beautiful at the Super Bowl in February.

"I was like, I have all these patterns on every other piece of clothing, but camo Uggs would really f**k the game up. So we got an Ugg boot made in that (MultiCam) print," he explained.

The new weatherised collection launched in September.
