Simon Cowell has paid tribute to Liam Payne following the One Direction star’s death.
"Liam, I am devastated. Heartbroken. And I feel empty," he wrote in his Instagram post.
Cowell put together the pop group on The X Factor back in 2010.
He remembered the 31 year old as kind, sweet, talented and more.
Payne died on Wednesday after falling from the balcony of the third-floor hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
