If you thought everyone in Quebec was getting ready to trick-or-treat on October 31 with their families, we've got some spooky updates for you…

That’s right—several towns in Quebec have decided to move trick-or-treating to November 1, 2024. The municipalities making this shift include Amos, Barraute, Berry, Landrienne, Preissac, and Saint-Marc-de-Figuery in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue area.

And they’re not the only ones! Senneterre has decided to move Halloween to the Friday closest to October 31 for the years 2025, 2026, and 2027, while Rouyn-Noranda has been celebrating Halloween on the Saturday closest to October 31 for nearly 30 years!

But don’t fret! As far as we know, Montreal is sticking with the traditional Halloween schedule!
