Olivia Rodrigo can't wait for the moment when she sees her new campaign for Lancôme out in public.
The Drivers License hitmaker was unveiled as a Global Brand Ambassador of the French make-up and skincare brand on Monday, and she will be the face of new launches and campaigns to be announced in the near future.
Olivia, who joins fellow ambassadors such as Amanda Seyfried and Emma Chamberlain, revealed to Vogue that her beauty appointment marks a full-circle moment.
"I remember rifling through my mom's make-up bag and seeing Lancôme skincare in there. The serum was one of the first things I put on my face, before I really was doing skincare," she recalled. "I know it's weird, but I'm really excited to take a picture of the campaign in the airport. It will be such a wild moment."
For the announcement photos, the Good 4 U singer wears Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation and Blush Subtil Powder Blush on her face, Idôle Liquid Eyeliner and Definicils High-Definition Mascara on her eyes, and L'Absolu Rouge Cream Lipstick on her pout.
In a statement, the actress-turned-pop star said she was "honoured" to join a brand that "promotes beauty from within" in a time where there are "many unrealistic expectations placed on young women".
During her interview with Vogue, Olivia also revealed that she decided to cut her signature waist-length hair during a break in her Guts World Tour schedule.
She wrapped up the main tour in October but has some festival dates lined up for next year.
"I feel like a brand-new girl," the 21-year-old explained. "I had really long hair while on tour and it was hard to take care of. I wanted to shed the dead ends, so I chopped them off. It's time for new beginnings."
