From Santa’s big arrival to the sparkle of Christmas markets, here are some festive activities you and your family can enjoy this weekend:
CP Holiday Train
For nearly a month, the Canadian Pacific (CPKC) Holiday Train travels across Canada, raising money, food, and awareness for local food banks. This Friday, November 22, 2024, it makes its highly anticipated return to Montreal with two stops:
- Montreal West: 7 PM
- Beaconsfield: 8:30 PM
Santa’s Parade
Downtown Montreal welcomes Santa Claus and his entourage this Saturday, November 23! Flying in straight from the North Pole, Santa will spread joy along a new parade route this year:
- Start Time: 11 AM
- Route: Boulevard René-Lévesque, from Bishop Street to Saint-Urbain Street (previously held on Sainte-Catherine Street).
The Great Christmas Market
Starting Saturday, November 22, through December 30, the Great Christmas Market at Quartier des Spectacles is back! Featuring local artisans, delicious food, and family-friendly entertainment, it’s a must-visit for holiday cheer.
Le Petit Dep – La Taverne de Noël
Le Petit Dep on St-Laurent Boulevard has been transformed into “La Taverne de Noël,” a cozy, festive tavern that’s perfect for ringing in the season!
