The Réseau express métropolitain (REM) announced on social media that service between Montreal and the South Shore will be interrupted this weekend.

Starting at 11 p.m. on Friday, trains will not run between Gare Centrale and Panama stations due to maintenance work, which is expected to be completed by Monday.

To accommodate travellers, the REM will provide a shuttle service between the two stations during the disruption.
