Starting on January 1, 2025, a new generation cohort, Generation Beta, has officially been born!
According to Australian trends and demographic analysis company McCrindle, Generation Beta will include children born from 2025 to 2039.
This generation will be the offspring of young millennials and older Gen Z, and many of them will live to see the 22nd century!
Generation Beta will grow up in a post-COVID world, where everything we know has shifted. They’ll also likely be raised in a world where AI is the new norm. As McCrindle shares on its website, "For Generation Beta, the digital and physical worlds will be seamless."
If you’re wondering which generation you belong to, here’s a quick breakdown of the general consensus:
- Silent Generation (Born 1928 to 1945)
- Baby Boomers (Born 1946 to 1964)
- Gen X (Born 1965 to 1979)
- Millennials (Born 1980 to 1994)
- Gen Z (Born 1995 to 2009)
- Generation Alpha (Born 2010 to 2024)
- Generation Beta (Born 2025 to 2039)
