Shopping at the SAQ is about to change!

In response to declining in-person sales, the Société des alcools du Québec (SAQ) has announced changes to store hours and plans to close two branches this spring—one in Rivière-Bleue and another in the Saguenay region.

The opening hours of the SAQ's 251 locations across the province will be adjusted to align with customer traffic patterns.

Despite the decline in in-store sales, the SAQ reported a 7.6% increase in online sales compared to the same quarter last year, generating $19.9 million in revenue.

All in all, it’s safe to say that at the end of the day, the SAQ is still in a safe spot!
