Chappell Roan has confessed she is feeling "very emo" ahead of the 2025 Grammy Awards.
The Red Wine Supernova singer is nominated for six Grammys at the awards show on 2 February.
She took to social media to share her thoughts about the big night ahead.
"It's Grammy week. I am very emo," she wrote in a post alongside a series of selfies.
My heart feels warm and fuzzy with all the support I have been given this past year. I hope you can understand that this has been incredible and scary and spiritual and confusing."
The 26-year-old shared that she had "been crying tears of joy and grief and feeling loved and lonely and free," adding that she is "grateful for every one of you who gave my music a little spin and showed your ass up to shows and festivals. Because yall are rockstars I feel like a rockstars :) Damn I am cheesy lowkey. Whatever anyway."
She made reference to her upcoming performance at the awards ceremony before noting that she is supporting the LGBTQi community amid Trump's recent curtailing of measures to provide equity to gay and transgender people.
"And girl no matter what, just know when I'm up on stage, all I'm really feeling in my heart is love to the queer community especially those in places where it is unsafe to be yourself," she said. "I see you."
Chappell is nominated for awards including Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Song of the Year for Good Luck, Babe! and Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album with The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess.
