As if you needed another reason to get extra cozy with your loved one, Mother Nature is making sure of it! How, you ask? By sending over 35 centimetres of snow our way, of course!

That’s right—unfortunately (or fortunately for some!)—Wednesday evening will bring around 20 to 35 centimetres of snow, continuing into Thursday morning. Temperatures will stay chilly, hovering between -15°C and -20°C.

Things will calm down Thursday afternoon as the snow tapers off completely by the evening.

Environment Canada shares in its weather alert that rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations and that visibility may be reduced at times in heavy snow.

So there you have it, Montreal! It’s going to be a cold and snowy love week in the city. Make sure to bundle up and prepare ahead of time for the snowfall heading our way.
