Great news if you’re excited for terrasse season and want to enjoy it with your furry friend!
This summer, you’ll be able to bring your dog to restaurant and bar patios across the province! That’s right—we’re not kidding. We’re just as excited as you are!
This update comes after an amendment to Bill 85 was passed on March 25. The goal of the bill is to reduce regulatory and administrative burdens, and part of that includes allowing dogs in outdoor dining areas throughout Quebec—as long as the establishment’s owner agrees to it.
So basically, if the restaurant or bar you’re visiting is cool with it, your pup can chill on the terrasse right alongside you this spring and summer!
