Filmmaker Paul Feig is stepping up his style game by teaming up with retail bosses at J.Crew to launch his own collection of suits.
The Bridesmaids director is known for his sharp fashion sense and is rarely seen without a full suit, and now he is sharing his style with fans, thanks to a new design deal with the clothing chain.
Feig shared the news during an appearance on breakfast show Today on Thursday (04May17), when he modeled one of his own creations - a blue, slim-fit, three-piece suit with white shirt, fuschia tie, and fuschia and light blue pocket square.
"I have a line coming out from J.Crew in the fall, that I designed," the 54-year-old explained, as he showed off his outfit.
He stopped short of revealing further details about the formal wear range on air, but the news emerges months after Feig was spotted attending the J.Crew presentation during New York Fashion Week in September (16).
Meanwhile, the filmmaker opened up about his experience attending the Big Apple's prestigious Met Gala on Monday night (01May17), when he wore a black velvet tuxedo jacket with fitted trousers and matching shoes, which he teamed with bright pink socks for a pop of color.
"It was really fun," he smiled as he discussed the star-studded event. "Your head's on a swivel the whole time 'cause you're constantly bumping into famous people."
However, Feig confessed he spent the entire night fearful of stepping on another celebrity's gown.
"That's the most terrifying thing," he exclaimed. "All you do is like, (think), 'Please don't let me tear somebody's dress!' and it's like, 'Oh God, there's Rihanna...!'"
