Calling all night owls, Nuit Blanche is happening this weekend in Montreal and there are so many fun activities and events planned that you definitely don’t want to miss out on!
On Saturday, February 26, 2022, select museums, movie theatres, activity centres and more will be keeping their services running until late, and in some cases all night… Like the STM Metro System. Yup, that’s right!
Curious to know what events will be happening in the city? Here's a little bit of what you can expect...
Missing the energy that live music brings? Montrealers can attend live performances all night long at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal, the St-James United Church, as well as online.
Movie-lovers can attend Nouveau Palais’ free screening; a series of shorts will be projected in the restaurant as well as the front window for additional viewing from outside. The McCord Museum will also be screening documentaries; Montréal New Wave, by Érik Cimon, offers a journey through time in the company of creators who gave birth to Quebec’s distinct approach to a worldwide cultural movement.
For all those thrill-seekers, Horizon Roc climbing center will be hosting a free bouldering, route and speed climbing evening… All happening in the dark! Make sure to reserve your spot in advance.
And, of course, there will be lights! Seeing as Nuit Blanche is part of Montréal en Lumière, locals can spot several projections that will light up the night Montreal skies. For more information on where to find them, visit their website here.
While this is only a short list of events that will be happening this weekend, you can check their full program at the Nuit Blanche website here.
