Parents, you might want to keep reading this (especially if you have young children!)
Nestlé, the world’s largest food & beverage company, has recently released a recall warning for some of its infant products in Canada. More specifically, the company has recalled its 942 gram packages of Good Start Soothe infant formula.
Why you ask? Because the product might be contaminated with the Cronobacter sakazakii bacteria. Intestinal infection and blood poisoning have been the recent symptoms associated with the bacteria.
The formula affected sold in Canada is best before the dates of July 18 and July 19 2024. If you think you might have the product on your shelves at home, Nestlé is advising to stop using it right away and contact customer services for reimbursement.
