For those with difficulty accessing eye care, Montreal's very own McGill University Health Clinic will be offering a free eye clinic this weekend. On Saturday May 27 from 9am-4pm, members of the general public in higher need or with difficulty accessing vision care will be able to take advantage of this free clinic.

"This is an initiative started almost 20 years ago by the late ophthalmologist Dr. KK Lim, and proudly taken over by Dr. John Chen of the MUHC’s Ophthalmology Department. The Chinese Lions Club of Greater Montreal continues to be instrumental in helping patients access ophthalmology care in our community," says Rebecca Burns, MUHC associate.

Thanks to the medical students and volounteers, the event is able to help over 130 patients every year.

For more details, visit the McGill Acedemy Eye Centre at 5252 Boulevard de Maisonneuve West, or visit MUHC's web page.
