While the past school year seems to have just come to an end...it's way in the past for some. So much, in fact, that 2 in 5 parents have already started back-to-school shopping, anticipating the next school year ahead.
More particularly, a study conducted by StudyFinds revealed that 39 percent of parents planned to shop for school supplies for their child before July. Why do all the shopping so early, you might ask? Here's why:
“While it seems like summer break has just started, the reality is that parents and teachers are already looking forward to and planning for the next school year,” said Kevin Moffitt, president of Office Depot, in an interview. “Starting back-to-school shopping earlier means more time to find the right products at the right prices.”
In other words, shopping for school supplies this early on means:
- Getting access to more products
- Taking advantage of reduced prices
- Not having to worry when August rolls around
- and more!
What about you, Montreal? When do you usually go back-to-school shopping for your family?
