REM / / REM

Good news for REM users! You can now bring your dogs, bikes, and large objects on the Réseau express Métropolitain, though some restrictions apply.

From June 24 to August 18, you may bring your leashed dog on board. However, starting August 19, dogs will not be allowed on board from Monday to Friday during peak hours between 7:00 AM and 9:30 AM, and 3:30 PM and 6:00 PM.

Additional rules for dogs include:

  • Must wear a muzzle from entering to leaving the station.
  • Only one dog per passenger.
  • Dogs cannot occupy car seats or benches on station platforms.

The same time restrictions apply to bikes. From June 24 to August 18, bikes are allowed at all times. After August 18, they will only be permitted during non-peak hours.

Conditions for bringing bikes on board:

  • Passengers must be 14 years old or accompanied by an adult.
  • Respect the two-bike limit per REM car and let passengers in and out first.
  • Bikes must not lean against the car, seats, doors, or other equipment.
