A$AP Rocky has been forced to pull out of the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival due to illness.
The Fashion Killa rapper had been due to perform as part of the spectacle at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada over the weekend.
However, Rocky - real name Rakim Mayers - took to his Instagram Stories on Thursday to share that he can no longer appear at the event due to being unwell.
"UNFORTUNATELY, I ENDED UP GETTING SICK & I WON'T BE ABLE TO PERFORM AT THE @iheartfestival. IM SORRY TO MY FANS & THANKFUL TO @iheartradio FOR THE OPPORTUNITY! (sic)" he wrote.
Rocky didn't share details of his illness. However, he did tease fans by noting that he had planned to perform some of his new tracks at the gig.
"I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO PERFORMING SOME NEW MUSIC FOR YALL! ENJOY THE SHOW THE LINE UP IS (fire emojis)," the 35-year-old added.
Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, the likes of Big Sean, Camila Cabello, Doja Cat, Dua Lipa, Gwen Stefani, Halsey, Hozier, Keith Urban, New Kids on the Block, Paramore, Shaboozey, The Black Crowes, and The Weeknd are also set to feature at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival.
Rocky is gearing up to unveil his fourth studio album, Don't Be Dumb. The album was originally meant to drop in August, but as a result of production issues, it will now be released later in the year.
"LEAKS & SAMPLE CLEARANCES ARE DISRUPTING THE ALBUM. ITS BEEN 6 YEARS & I WANNA MAKE THE BEST ALBUM EVER. IM SORRY FOR THE WAIT (sic)," he explained on X last month.
