Chappell Roan has hinted she has a new album on the horizon.
The singer took to Instagram to drop the clue. She posted a photo of herself holding her debut album, The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess, alongside another photo of her holding a microphone in what appears to be a recording studio.
She captioned the images, "Album kinda popped off imo but it is time to welcome a hot new bombshell into the villa."
In September, the 26-year-old told how she had different sounds on the album she was working on.
"We have a country song. We have a dancy song. We have one that's really Eighties, and we have one that's acoustic, and we have one that's really organic, live-band, Seventies vibe. It's super weird," she said.
Last week, producer Dan Nigro revealed he'd been working with the star in the studio and they had recorded five songs together. He told how fans should expect something different from her new music offering, saying there's a "fun, up-tempo country song," a "couple of ballads" and a "mid-tempo rock song". He added, "I'll say that much. It's a new version of Chappell."
The singer's latest Instagram post isn't the first time she's hinted at new material. Over the weekend, she posted a series of Polaroid shots, with the words, "She Gets The Job Done" on each slide. She captioned the post, "This is a clue. Just let that sink in."
