Jessica Alba always carves out some "me time" to get her in the right headspace before hitting the red carpet.
Although she's a busy entrepreneur, actress and mum of three, The Honest Company co-founder makes sure she sets aside time for self-care before meeting her glam team before a big event.
"I always make sure to carve out some 'me time' before getting ready for any event," she told People. "Whether it's a meditation, a bath or a quick massage, I like that alone time to centre myself and recharge. It helps me feel grounded and ready for what's ahead."
Alba and her make-up artist Maria Vargas like to keep the relaxed vibe going during glam by putting on "an awesome chill playlist" and tucking into snacks throughout the process.
Before the make-up application begins, the Fantastic Four star uses eye patches to soothe and brighten her "tired eyes" and a facial sculpting wand which "helps wake my face up and makes my skin feel more contoured".
They then move on to the cosmetics, which must feature her "ride or die beauty product" -mascara.
Alba recently hit the red carpet at the Baby2Baby gala in Los Angeles wearing a dusty rose pink Zuhair Murad dress and Aquazzura heels.
The actress revealed to the outlet how she managed to last so long in the shoes, saying, "I always add double padding to make any heel more comfortable. Ever since COVID, my feet do NOT like high heels, so I have to make sure I can wear them for more than 45 minutes!"
