Looking for your next go-to spot to hang out with friends? Cineplex has officially opened its first location of The Rec Room on Monday, November 25, at Royalmount!
If you’re unfamiliar, The Rec Room is like an adult playground, featuring gaming, live entertainment, and so much more.

Beyond the games and activities, it also offers an upscale, casual dining experience at La Cantine. Expect premium poutine, tasty snacks, and other delicious bites. When warmer weather rolls around, you can take the fun outdoors to their large terrace, set to open in Spring 2025.

As if that’s not enough, a brand-new Cineplex has also opened alongside The Rec Room. This state-of-the-art theater boasts five auditoriums with recliner seating, laser projectors, and one equipped with immersive D-BOX motion recliners!

According to their press release, the opening of these two venues has created 200 local jobs, making this an exciting addition to the community.
