Britney Spears has hit back at cruel online comments that have left her sad.
The 43-year-old pop superstar has become well known for utilising her social media platform to showcase her dancing skills.
She has frequently drawn attention for sharing videos of herself pirouetting and shimmying while wearing swimwear and short dresses.
However, the Toxic singer has revealed she has had enough of the cruel comments that some of her posts attract.
Hitting back at trolls, the star wrote in a social media post at the beginning of the weekend, "I took the video of myself dancing down because so many people said so many mean things... if they only knew how severe my sadness is."
She continued, "It is a f**king miracle from God that I played and danced, period. It is insane!!"
The star went on to explain that her heart sank when she listened to "dark music" and scrolled through the comments on her post.
She wrote, "(I) was like Damn, there's so much I haven't even shown but it saddens me people say mean things about me."
And slamming those who leave the cruel comments, the chart-topping singer added, "I'm so damn sick of people saying they are concerned and if you don't like the way I move, f**k off and don't watch it!"
