Beyoncé admitted she forgot to thank her daughter Rumi in her Grammy acceptance speech.
The singer took home the Album of the Year award at the 2025 Grammy Awards.
During her acceptance speech, she thanked "every songwriter, every collaborator, every producer, all of the hard work."
It wasn't until afterwards that the 43-year-old admitted she had forgotten to give a public shoutout to her seven-year-old daughter, Rumi, who is featured on the track Protector which appears on the Cowboy Carter album.
Rumi, who has a twin brother, Sir, starts off the song, saying, "Mom, can I hear the lullaby, please?"
Beyoncé told how she accidentally left her off the list of people she wanted to thank.
"Rumi - who's on the album, my youngest daughter - she was watching," the star shared in an interview with Entertainment Tonight after the awards.
"I forgot to thank her so I get to thank her now. Thank you, Rumi."
Beyoncé was joined on stage by her oldest daughter, Blue Ivy, 13, when she collected her award for Best Country Album.
"(She's) taller than me, I don't like it at all," the star joked afterwards of her first child. "I'm so happy that she was here."
The star made reference to the fact she's been previously overlooked for the Album of the Year accolade, admitting that it felt "surreal" to have won.
"It's been 25 years of just working really hard and trying my best to keep growing and keep opening up doors," she said.
