Chris Martin has opened up about his battle with depression and how he helps boost his mood.
The 48-year-old Coldplay frontman has been on the road with the current Music of the Spheres World Tour since 2022 and has confessed he can be left feeling blue while travelling the globe.
But he has shared his favourite ways to keep his spirits up - and hopes others can also find comfort by trying new things.
Opening up to fans via Instagram after performing in Hong Kong on Monday, the singer said, "I've noticed a few people recently, including myself, struggling a bit with depression so I was going to tell you some things that have been helping me on tour and in general in hopes that maybe some of them might be good for you too."
Sharing his tips, he continued, "The first thing I wanted to tell you was that there is a thing called freeform writing where you write for twelve minutes, all your thoughts, and then you burn it or throw it away. That's very good."
He went on, "Transcendental meditation has been really wonderful for me... There's a thing called Proprioception which is like body movement to help balance your brain. There is a man called Jim Costello, who did the Costello Method that's very helpful - especially for young people with ADHD or autism."
He then went on to list a book called The Oxygen Advantage by Patrick G. Mckeown, the psychedelic music of Johns Hopkins and the movie Sing Sing as other methods of lifting spirits.
The Yellow singer also highlighted a new musical artist called Chloe Qisha - declaring, "Her music makes me happy".
Panning his video across a square, he added, "There's some people dancing there, so maybe dancing too. Those are some of the things that are helping me stay grateful and happy to be alive."
Fans have several more months to see Coldplay on the road as the epic 225 date tour will finally reach an end in London on 8 September.
