U.S. Supreme Court Approves Nationwide TikTok Ban

U.S. Supreme Court Approves Nationwide TikTok Ban

It’s almost the end of an era for our neighbours to the south. The wildly popular social media platform TikTok is just days away from being shut down in the U.S., following a decision by the U.S. Supreme Court on Friday to allow a federal law enforcing a nationwide ban to proceed.

In recent weeks, there’s been plenty of speculation about whether the U.S. TikTok ban would actually happen. On Thursday, U.S. President-elect Donald Trump’s incoming national security adviser hinted that the new administration might keep TikTok running if a viable deal is reached.

For Canadians, there’s no need to worry—our government has confirmed that the app will remain accessible here, ensuring TikTok fans north of the border can continue scrolling, creating, and sharing without interruption.
