Just when you thought we couldn’t possibly get more snow… well, unfortunately, you’re wrong!
Environment Canada has issued another special weather statement, announcing that a winter storm is expected to hit on Sunday, bringing up to 30 cm of snow from Sunday morning to Monday.
The alert applies to Southern, Central, and Eastern Quebec, warning that "significant snowfall amounts ranging from 15 to 30 centimetres are possible. Moderate to strong winds will also generate local blowing snow."
Environment Canada also warns that the snow will make travel difficult and urges people to prepare for rapidly changing road conditions.
